Our graduate program of English language education offers three specializations: language teacher professional development, digital technology, and English for specific purposes. We prepare our graduates to be a competent educator who is able to critically and creatively develop all aspects of learning using up-to-date theories and practices, able to conduct research based on sound critical scientific inquiries, and possess intercultural knowledge and skills to create an inclusive and tolerant educational atmosphere.
To be an adaptive, innovative, and holistic graduate program in English language education in ASEAN by the year of 2027 in the fields of digital technology for language learning, teacher professional development, and English for specific purposes.
Delivering an innovative, adaptive, and holistic English teaching and learning process based on logical, critical, scientific, and creative thinking.
Preparing graduates to be able to develop and upgrade English language learning curricula, designs, methods, strategies and assessment through critical scientific inquiries informed by cross-cultural awareness.
Preparing graduates to be able to develop and upgrade English language learning programs utilizing digital technology through critical scientific inquiries informed by cross-cultural awareness.
Preparing graduates to be able to develop their own and their colleagues’ professionalism in the field of English language education through a thorough problem analysis, comprehensive review, and integrated problem solving informed by cross-cultural awareness.
Preparing graduates to be able to develop, upgrade, and deliver English language learning programs for various specific purposes (ESP) through critical scientific inquiries informed by cross-cultural awareness.
Providing high quality human resources to produce graduates who possess logical, critical, scientific, and creative thinking and leadership skills.
Improving the quality of community service which effectively serves community’s needs in English language education.
Establishing and cooperation with local and foreign institutions in enhancing implementing the Three Pillars of Higher Education in the field of English language education.

A bachelor’s degree in English Language Education or other relevant programs (Applied Linguistics, Literature, Education, Communication).
A minimum GPA of 2.75.
A minimum ITP TOEFL score of 500 (or IBT TOEFL of 61, IELTS of 6, Duolingo English Test of 85; with a valid certificate issued by official testing institutions such as ETS, IIEF, Duolingo, or LTC UKSW).
Two recommendation letters (from one’s former thesis supervisor, academic adviser, or employers).
An initial thesis proposal.
A one-page (minimum of 500 words) personal statement in English, answering the question "Why Do I Need a Master's Degree in English Language Education?".
