Admission Information

Why MPBI

Admission Requirements

  1. A bachelor’s degree in English Language Education or other relevant programs (Applied Linguistics, Literature, Education, Communication).
  2. A minimum GPA of 2.75.
  3. A minimum ITP TOEFL score of 500 (or IBT TOEFL of 61, IELTS of 6, Duolingo English Test of 85; with a valid certificate issued by official testing institutions such as ETS, IIEF, Duolingo, or LTC UKSW).
  4. Two recommendation letters (from one’s former thesis supervisor, academic adviser, or employers).
  5. An initial thesis proposal.
  6. A one-page (minimum of 500 words) personal statement in English, answering the question “Why Do I Need a Master’s Degree in English Language Education?”.
